Mint + Mabel is a creative studio based in the Cotswolds. We are Hattie + Erin and have 20 years of combined graphic design and illustration experience with a mission to transform spaces both inside and out. We offer our design expertise to design and paint murals for offices, schools and community spaces. Introducing Erin
I have three main creative loves: design, drawing and painting. I have loved anything arty for as long as I can remember. I created my first mural on the desk of our local climbing centre when I was a teen and went on to create murals professionally. I have a degree in Graphic Design and experience working in design agencies, which is where Hattie and I met. I love the mindful element of painting and designing, it is so relaxing to be solely focused on the work. It feels amazing to take a blank canvas and create something visual that really resonates with the client. I feel so passionate about the work we do here at Mint + Mabel, implementing our style over multiple mediums.
Introducing Hattie
My love of design and interiors began as a child being obsessed with Changing Rooms (the one that made Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen famous). I had always dreamt of being an interior designer and transformed my first space when I was 10 years old by making my Wendy House a nautical paradise, complete with hand-painted dolphin murals. I took an Art Foundation course and decided photography and graphic design were what I wanted to pursue so I went off to uni and did my BA (hons) in Graphic Design and now have 14 years experience as a professional Graphic Designer. My love of interior design has been flourishing in the background and I am very excited that I can share our Mint + Mabel projects and help transform spaces with mine and Erin's combined expertise.
